About me
Chip Hutchens is the Regional Manager for Weston & Sampson’s four North Carolina offices. With 35 years of transportation experience, he started in the Roadway Design unit at NCDOT before joining the consultant community where he has expanded his design experience to include hydraulic design, traffic management and utility design and coordination. He has been involved in the design of more than 30 interchanges throughout North Carolina as well as coordinating a highway crossing of the Appalachian Trail. He is a member of the Triangle Section of ASHE and ACEC/NC.
