Danielle Somma is a Vice President and a Principal at Appledore Marine Engineering, specializing in marine engineering. A licensed professional engineer with 15+ years of experience, she has inspected, designed, and assessed waterfront facilities across the U.S. and internationally. She leads project teams in structural inspections, design, analysis, and technical reviews. She is Co-Vice Chair of the ASCE COPRI Waterfront Facility Inspection Committee and a member of the Protection and Rehabilitation of Waterfront Structures Committee. Passionate about mentorship and professional development, she is committed to fostering the next generation of engineers and making a meaningful impact in the industry.
