Matthew J. Low, PE is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) with Hoyle, Tanner & Associates, Inc., a 120-person civil engineering firm with offices in New England and Florida. He is responsible for the growth and quality of the firm’s service offerings as well as productivity and efficiency. Matt’s technical background in structural and transportation engineering with a focus on bridge inspection and design for state and local transportation agencies. He earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire in 1992 and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University in 2023 and is a licensed professional engineer in five states. Since 2020 he has been Adjunct Faculty to the Civil Engineering Department at the University of New Hampshire. He was named the 2002 New Hampshire Young Engineer of the Year, the 2019 New Hampshire Engineer of the Year, was recognized by the New Hampshire Union Leader as a member of the 2006 “40 under Forty” class, and by New Hampshire Business Review as a Top 200 Business Leader in 2024. Matt resides in Manchester, New Hampshire.
